Bring Porn Back to Pornhub
Bring Porn Back to Pornhub
The Issue
Just a few days ago, PornHub has made the ultimatum in erasing over 10 million videos on the site, basically over a decade worth of video history, gone. Compilations, gameplay footage, vintage shows and movies, you name it, just gone. Which is basically screwing over the loyal community who've stuck with it since the beginning.
Years ago, PornHub used to be like YouTube in a sense that people can upload whatever they want for others to see. Now, you can't post anything without being watched by Big Brother, like we're in a dystopian future where everything you do being observed very closely by an always watchful eye. This is the stuff that changed YouTube and Tumblr for the worst. There's doing a good cause, and there's screwing over others. Was having this sort of pyrrhic victory worth it?
Next, they're gonna crack down on all adult clothing and DVD stores. Would you want that?
I remember back when YouTube would let you express your creativity and let you post and upload whatever you want. It's even in the slogan, "Broadcast Yourself". Now, you can't watch a video without being bombarded by ads every five minutes unless you subscribe to a premium account, or if you do upload a video, hopefully it'll be up for like ten minutes before it gets taken down for arbitrary reasons.
Tumblr was also similar, it hosted a lot of communities and fan pages for different trends such as clothes, movies, and TV shows, and that's barely touching on the fanart and gifs. Now, the site is just an barren wasteland of what it once was. You could barely post an image without it being taken down for some idiotic reason.
I'm not like that. We're not going to take this lying down. It's time we show the government and the media that sites like PornHub, YouTube, and Tumblr are for the people, and they want to express themselves, let them do so. I say, let their freak flag fly. Let's bring the site back to it's original glory. An actual YouTube of porn.
