A Richmond Circuit Court judge recently ruled that several state senators are in contempt of court for not providing records related to potentially illegal gerrymandering. The judge has fined each senator $100 per day, every day, until they turn over the documents they were ordered to turn over months ago.

But the senators are planning to pay that fine with taxpayer dollars! That's $4,200 a week. Paid for by your money.

We believe the citizens of Virginia deserve representatives who will stand with the law, not against it.
