Read the letter from Rebecca Ballo from Arlington County regarding an upcoming meeting. Go to https://commissions.arlingtonva.us/historical-affairs-landmark-review-board/ and click on "site plan presentation" under 3. for the pdf file showing the proposed revisions, which include graphics showing the proposed preservation of the Robert Ball Sr. Cemetery. Good afternoon, The HALRB will be reviewing the Ballston Methodist church’s Site Plan at their meeting next Wednesday. We just got materials within the house, hence the delay in this email. The materials are posted to our website here: https://commissions.arlingtonva.us/historical-affairs-landmark-review-board/. The HALRB will be reviewing the site plan and providing comments to the County Board as to whether the proposed architecture and overall plan are compatible with the proposed historic district. This is not a public hearing item, as they are not making a decision and taking an action, so public testimony is not anticipated. The applicant presents their materials and there are comments and questions from the Board. That said, this is a public meeting and the public, and your respective groups, are welcome to attend. The Chair does take public statements and questions at times in cases like these, at her discretion. Please let me know if you have any questions. We are closed Monday, but I will be in Tuesday. Have a great weekend!
