I gave a three minute presentation to the Arlington County Board o Saturday, November 5, 2016. It appears at 57 minutes into this video and you can slide it to that point. http://arlington.granicus.com/MediaPlayer.php?view_id=2&clip_id=3239 The lawyer for the Central Methodist Church informed the Arlington County Board on Saturday that the church intended to now preserve a 325 square foot area at the core of the cemetery and that all human remains found outside that area on the property would be moved and placed within the 325 square foot area. This is great news, and I look forward to working with the church and Ball family to create a wonderful memorial and signage discussing the history of both the family and church in the Ballston Community in the coming months. I will keep the petition open so I can communicate with all of the signers if needed until this is officially decided on paper.
