Due to the covid-19 virus, VCU has canceled commencement for Spring 2020. While we understand this is a pandemic and the CDC suggests against large groups for the next 8 weeks- we still believe that VCU should honor their spring graduates. As of now VCU is saying they can be honored at the December graduation along with the December 2020 graduates. This is not the same honor as having your own graduation. We ask VCU to postpone commencement until summer when the pandemic has calmed down, that way the Class of 2020 can still have their recognition.
