# 2 The purpose of this petition is simply to inspire the Mayor, City Council interested stakeolders & a willing private property owner to negotiate a deal to preserve 100% of what the vast majority of people believe is already preserved. 

# 3 You might have heard about a proposal to build apartments at Marlin Bay Drive. We hope someone buys the property to preserve it. If that doesn’t happen, we hope whatever is built there has the least negative impact on PHP & Ocean Park - the surrounding neighborhood. One of the partners in that project owns the private property on PHP.
