Virgin Mobile USA and some of the OEM's, like Kyocera, that make devices for their network insist on locking down devices to prevent customers from modifying the property customers paid for (namely the smartphones.) As technology becomes a bigger part of our lives it is appalling that some companies try to control end users by telling us what we can and can't do with our property. I call for Virgin Mobile and their OEM's to unlock the boot loaders of our devices as they have no right to tell us how to use our property, we paid full price for our smartphones and there is no contract that we need to fulfill.
