Since 2011 violent crime in Victoria has increased by a massive 60% and it's getting worse.  There's hardly a day goes by that there isn't a murder, rape, violent assault or other crime against people on our streets.  What's the solution? Well it's not our job to work that out but the government we employ to govern.  Victoria has one of the lowest ratios of police to population in the world.  Victoria Police Command has lost it's way after 2 decades of promoting 'academics' who have limited policing skills and very little operational experience to senior positions and the organisation's capacity to effectively police the community has all but dissappeared.  Even when the crooks are caught our courts let us down with either very lenient sentencing or no sanction at all.  These aren't the only factors, sure, but again, we call on the Andrews Government to get tough on crime, NOW!
