This is a petition requesting an external review of the homicide case against Tony Baird.  We aspire to vindicate Tony and to bring attention to the gross injustices incurred by him during the course of his case. These injustices are the result of prosecutorial vindictiveness of both the Topeka Police Department and the Shawnee County DA's Office. 

"The objective of this movement is to finally ensure that the Topeka Police Department and the Shawnee County DA's office be held accountable for the mishandlings of not only my case but dozens if not hundreds of other cases of people of indigence and others who don't have the resources or support to speak out for them- past, present and future. This has gone on for decades with no recognition, our goal is to change that immediately. My case has been completely mishandled from the time I was arrested; I will no longer allow that to happen. I am not asking for money, I am not asking for a lawyer, I am asking for your help to make this situation and others like it to be heard so we can put an end to this incompetence. I am a father, a son, a brother, a friend and a person who is stepping up for myself and others. Please help make this situation be heard." -Tony Baird

We strive to bring accountability to the actions of those sworn to protect us and our rights.
