Neil Warnock was appointed Cardiff manager on 5 October 2016. At the time the Bluebirds were in the midst of a relegation scrap which in his first season in charge Neil Warnock guided them to safety. In his second season, Neil Warnock produced a miracle earning him a legend status at the club where he got Cardiff promoted into the Premier League for the first time since 2013.

However, arguably the most important thing Warnock did for the club was uniting it bringing the fans, players and owners together. After the tough times of the past causing fans to turn on the club with the famous blue kit of Cardiff turning red. In the Premier League, the tragic death of Emiliano Sala and a large amount of bad luck the Bluebirds were relegated.

It is a shame to think how differently things could’ve been but the one constant factor was the love of Neil Warnock and his brilliance. Due to this, The Neil Warnock Stand is needed. Thank You, Neil!
