Bring Back The Bongo Cam at Nova Basketball Games

Bring Back The Bongo Cam at Nova Basketball Games
The Issue
Villanova is a college basketball powerhouse. The 2016 National Championship cemented our place in the current upper echelon of the college basketball world. As our team looks to continue their reign and seek another National Championship, there seems to be something missing this year. That is, THE BONGO CAM!!!
The action is always great on the court, but during timeouts there are opportunities to elevate the fan experience. Cheerleaders, dance crews, and promotional events do a great job of filling some of the time and getting the crowd excited, but there is still more time to spend. Some of this time is spent on different "crowd cams", like the Dance Cam, Musselman's "Apple of My Eye" Cam, and in the past, the Bongo Cam. However, at some point last season, the cult favorite Bongo Cam disappeared from the rotation and has not found its way back.
The Bongo Cam is an easy and fun way to get fans involved with the gameday experience and it deserves a revival. In its history, the Bongo Cam has featured many great Villanova alumni, countless excited Villanova fans, and even Joel "The Process" Embiid". In conclusion, you should ask yourself the question, should the Bongo Cam return? Eh, why not?
