Hello everyone, 

The reason why I’m asking for your support today is because I own 6 ducks and my village doesn’t allow barn fowl. Yet we have a blains farm and fleet a mile and a half away from my home that sells ducks. I might have not gotten mine from blains but still these ducks have a connection to my boyfriend and I. It wouldn’t be fair to them to just be taken away. Their names are Lucy, Sissy, Sir Duckington, Pricilla, Pamala and Ardee. They have been in our lives for about a month now and have imprinted on my boyfriend and I.  Recently someone in our neighborhood called animal control on these guys and now they have to be gone by Friday 7/31/2020. I’m making this petition to hopefully show the village that waterfowl can be kept peacefully and correctly in our village. My ducks are taken care of properly, they have an eight foot by five foot cage in my backyard along with a 300 gallon stock tank for their swimming needs. The ducks also have free range of the backyard during the day, in which that is duck proofed. They have not caused any harm to anyone and I hope that you decide to support us. Our ducks do not deserve to be just given up on when they’ve only known us since the day we got them. I got four of my ducks a day after they were hatched and Lucy and sissy were only two weeks old. Please help us keep our ducks!
