Word on the street is that the old Bargain Bilge location set at the lower end of Main street is in plans to be a Starbucks Coffee.  Main Street in Patchogue has grown exponentially over the last few years and small businesses up and down Main St. continue to thrive.  I, along with I'm sure many of the residents in the area, would like to see our small town vibe stay intact and continue to grow in the fashion it is now.  There is currently NO "BIG BUSINESS" on Main Street and to be quite frank there SHOULDN'T BE!  Furthermore, we currently have three amazing coffee spots that I'm sure would suffer due to the convenience of this proposed location complete with drive-thru.  Dare I mention the traffic concern this would add to the West Ave., Main St. intersection with everyone furiously trying to pull out with their morning caffeine fix.  Keep Patchogue what it is, help protect small business, tell Starbucks "We don't want any"!!!
