Hi Neighbors,

As many of you in the Pine Brook Park area may know, there is currently a staircase at the end of Coolidge Street that runs down to Pine Brook Park.  We noticed today that signs have been posted stating that the stairs will be removed on March 4 (see photos).  We contacted the Village of Larchmont Building Department to see if there were plans to replace the steps.  While we did not receive a definitive answer, we were asked how many residents use the steps.  We know many families in the area beyond just Coolidge Street use the steps to access the Park and on the walk to/from school, town and the train.  If you use the steps and would like them to remain, please sign the attached petition so that we can submit this to the town to demonstrate the local resident's use of the stairs.  Thank you!
