The Issue

We request that the Village of Hinsdale deny the request for the Hinsdale Senior Residences by Ryan Companies.  The suggested use and proposed development are not compatible with the long-established and rustic residential nature of Fullersburg.  The Ryan project:

  • is too high in density
  • increases traffic with congestion
  • causes an adverse environmental impact with flooding
  • creates a public health and safety risk

We do not want to ruin the natural beauty of the area.

We further request that the Village of Hinsdale retain existing R-2 zoning guidelines for the redevelopment of all the land currently owned by IBLP (Institute of Basic Life Principles) and not grant any variances. 

The IBLP property is defined as the area east and west of Adams Rd, north of Ogden Avenue, extending north to the boundary with Oak Brook.   A specific description of the land is provided below.
