The Baden-Powell statue on Poole Quay has been a historical placeholder for our town for over a decade.

Lord Baden-Powell founded the modern worldwide scouting movement. In Poole, he is popular for holding a scout demonstration camp on Brownsea Island.

He is an asset to not only local history, but worldwide history.

There should be no need to remove Lord Baden-Powell's statue at all!
