Hereby, I would like to bring in to your attention that there is no provision for waiting list in Gujarat Administrative Service, Class-1, Gujarat
Civil Services, Class-1 & Class-2 & Gujarat Municipal Chief Officer Service,
Class-2 recruitment. Whereas in similar exam at central level i.e UPSC CSE has the provision for it.

Hence, it must be feasible to have similar provisions in the ongoing GPSC exam having advertisement number GPSC/201920/10 and GPSC/202021/26 and in future exams as well.

Every time there are huge number of seats remaining vacant due to many selected candidates not opting it for a number of valid reasons. This results into other potential candidates not being recruited for the same vacancies due to lack of the said provision.

It causes a huge toll on the future of prospective candidates and administrative efficiency.

Hence, I humbly request the Hon'ble Chief Minister Of Gujarat Shri Vijay Rupani to bring in amendments in the related relevant rules, laws and whatever else is required to have the provision of waiting list in the above mentioned exams.

I am positively hopeful that you will do the needful in favour of aspiring candidates, Justice and for a better future.
