Vidcon Australia was confirmed last year for 2019 however they haven't released their dates. In the past 2 years, Vidcon Australia dates were announced in October and November of the previous year, just a few months after the convention was held but for some reason there has been no announcement yet. 

There was some understanding that Vidcon was focusing on Vidcon London back at the end of last year so they couldn't announce it but now it's March of 2019 and Vidcon London has passed and Vidcon US is fast approaching.

There has been alot of outcry by the Australian community for dates to be announced on Twitter and the responses to every Twitter question that Vidcon tweets is a call for them to announce their dates.

Had they announced dates last year, super early bird and early bird tickets would have sold out by this time.

Also by delaying the announcement by this long, they aren't leaving much time for people to save money for flights and accomodation as well as taking time off from school or work because not everyone lives in Melbourne.
