In our last update we told you that the Ashford Residents Association was working on formal guidance to help you submit your own personal objection. That guidance is now ready!
We have published free step-by-step guides, infographics and ready-to-use templates at the link below. They are designed to help you write a valid, evidence-based representation in minutes, one that carries real legal weight at the licensing hearing.

A few things to remember when you use them:
• Please personalise your representation. Don't copy and paste a template word for word. Your own experience of Church Road, however brief, makes your objection significantly stronger.
• You need to include your full name and address and confirm that you live, work or use the high street.
• Submit directly to Spelthorne Licensing by email, post or via their online form.
The deadline is 18 June 2026. Please do not leave it to the last minute.
Nothing has changed on Church Road. The schools, care homes and vulnerable residents are all still there. So are we.
Ashford does not forget. Ashford does not give up.
