Hi everyone,
I just wanted to reach out to let you know we’ve just passed 3,068 signatures on our petition!
Thank you so much for your support!
It has been an extremely active 48 hours with a lot of people contacting us with support, suggestions and a range of extremely helpful advice.
I want to make sure I keep you up to date with everything that is happening so we can all benefit.
This is a community drive that only works if we all work together as a community.
We have just finished our website, which you can find at saveparkdale.com.
Here we have details on what you can do to help, email links to members of parliament with completed emails attached - as well as a range of other useful information. We will update this as often as required.
In addition to the website, we are having flyers printed and expect to have them this week.
We are also awaiting an electronic link for our parliamentary petition and once that is active the website will be updated to reflect this.
We have also created a Facebook group called Save Parkdale where we will keep you up to date and allow you to engage with the rest of the community to ensure that we are all moving in the same direction - the link to this group is also at saveparkdale.com or you can go directly to https://www.facebook.com/saveparkdale
As I've mentioned, we need to work together as a community to strive towards the result we want - so please let me know how you can help.
We need people to deliver flyers, gather signatures, monitor Facebook and perform a range of other activities as we work towards our shared goal.
We can do this, so stay strong.
Thanks again.
Dave.
Will you help me to get more support by sharing this petition with ten other people? If enough of us sign we can’t be ignored! Here’s a link to share https://www.change.org/p/victorian-state-government-parkdale-train-stations-should-go-underground
