I approached wealthy Australians a number of years ago. Gina Rinehart replied and we worked together to plan a State of the art cancer Hospital in Darwin. This would include world leading too of the range scanning options to best detect cancers. 
it was also to have Cyberknife, Gamma Knife, Da Vinci and an Aussie first designed centre. 
This was announced on local and National media to great fanfare.

However Gina had only done this to gain politically. She had used cancer patients, their families and friends to get a leg up politically. We were absolutely disgusted. So we started this petition as well to hold Gina accountable and get her promised hospital finished. 
Ironically she also agreed to be a Cyberknife ambassador for NT and Queensland. I don’t see that happening now.
