I'm envious of most of my friends for being able to walk into an easily accessible bra store chain such as Victoria's Secret and buy a bra their size. I recently visited a Victoria's Secret store where I discovered that they didn't carry any band size smaller than 32". This was unfortunate, because when I tried on the "sister size" of the size I'd been looking for, I had to tighten the band and the shoulder straps as tight as they could go, so there was really no point in buying the bra as I knew that it would obviously stretch and not last me very long. I was told to look on the Victoria's Secret website for a bra in a 30" band size, but the only 30" sizes I saw were 30A and 30B, which I know would be too small for me, which was really disappointing. Not only that, but even if Victoria's Secret were to carry the size I wanted, I wouldn't even have been able to try it on before buying it without paying for shipping. This makes trying on bras not only a hassle, but also expensive.  I know that I am not the only woman with a need for smaller band sizes. I've been searching the internet for a 28" band size and there are very few companies that provide that option. The same goes for 30" bras though they are a little easier to find. I am hoping that with enough support, Victoria's Secret might choose to accommodate more petite women by bringing bras with smaller band sizes into their stores, or at the very least offering those bras online with free shipping and returns so that women can have the ability to order a bra in their size without worrying that the bra will not fit.
