The students of Delhi University faced a huge loss academically during this whole semester due to various reasons. A series of events took place simultaneously in an uncontrollable manner affecting the students. This began with the DUTA strike followed  by the Delhi Assembly Elections and the communal riots.  

Covid-19 has further worsened the situation. Surely, we have our classes going on online, however, a lot of students do not even have their books/study material in their native places (as students had travelled to their hometowns during the Holi break), and at several occasions we do not even have proper internet connection and network. 

We are all in tremendous anxiety and do not know when things will improve. Studying has become really difficult for us.

Symbiosis, Pune has declared that examinations are cancelled for students. Several other institutions too are planning on cancelling exams for students and are finding alternative and effective solutions - in the form of assignment submissions, online presentations etc. 

We as students of Delhi University, request you sir, to please listen to our plea and cancel our examination.
