To stop VH1 Classic from becoming another terrible channel such as MTV or MTV2. Back in the beginning, MTV2 was a music video channel which played nothing but music videos, now I don't even know how to classify the channel, other than a channel that I refuse to watch even for one second. Full of reality shows and repeated programs and movies that have nothing to do with music or music videos. This is to possibly make the programmers at VH1 Classic (Viacom) notice that us, the viewers are tired of channels declining into the same terrible formats over and over. As a paying customer, I and many others are not satisfied with VH1 Classic's choice of current programs, and would like a change, and to just start listening to their viewers again, like they used to when this channel started. I, and many others would like to see rare music videos played again, much like the format of VH1 Classic in 2001 through 2004 when music videos were only played on the channel. Also, for the programming department to notice that the channel has declined and lost many viewers over the years. Recently, movies such as "Blazing Saddles", "Gremlins" and "Risky Business", which aren't music related films have been shown. This petition asks VH1 to stop playing movies and start playing music videos again. Also, TV shows that do not belong on this channel such as Married With Children. As a long time viewer, I've seen many channels decline into what VH1 Classic has declined over the years, once a great music video channel that took requests and cared about their viewers is now another copy of MTV and MTV2, and will soon become another terrible channel such as MTV, full of TV shows about pregnant teenagers and horrible shows such as Jersey Shore. Please sign this petition to make a change, we can make a difference if we have enough signatures, and get VH1 Classic back to an acceptable format. I would love to see All Request Hour return to VH1 Classic.
