📝 PETITION TO VETO HB302

Protect Hawai‘i’s Patients, Small Businesses, and Cannabis Access

We the undersigned respectfully call on Governor Josh Green to VETO House Bill 302 (HB302).

This bill does not represent true legalization. Instead, it protects monopolies, locks out trusted local retailers, and restricts affordable cannabis access to only a few state-approved dispensaries.

HB302 will:

 • Violate HIPAA by forcing patients to disclose sensitive medical information

 • Eliminate legal access through smoke shops, vape stores, and other licensed age-restricted retailers

 • Drive up prices for consumers and patients

 • Force local brands and distributors out of the market

 • Increase black market activity and reduce public safety

Hawai‘i already regulates alcohol, tobacco, and vapes through thousands of licensed local retailers.
Cannabis should be treated the same.

We urge you to stand with patients, small businesses, and local jobs — not monopolies.
Governor Green: VETO HB302.
