Veterinary Professionals for Permanent Ceasefire and Aid Access in Palestine

Veterinary Professionals for Permanent Ceasefire and Aid Access in Palestine
The Issue
As someone who is deeply committed to inclusive and accessible public health, I am moved to use my voice to support a permanent ceasefire and aid access in Palestine.
The liberation of marginalized communities cannot be achieved without acknowledging and addressing how systemic oppression affects us collectively. Today, we turn our attention to the ongoing crisis in Palestine where not only human lives are at stake but also those of countless animals who are victims of this genocide.
The blockade on humanitarian aid has severely affected human healthcare and veterinary services, leading to human and animal suffering. According to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), access to veterinary care is critical during conflicts as it directly impacts food security and public health.
We call upon veterinary professionals worldwide to lend their voices in support of a permanent ceasefire in Palestine and an end to the humanitarian aid blockade. This is about compassion, empathy, and justice for all living beings caught up in this crisis.
By signing this petition, you're advocating for peaceable conditions where both people and animals can thrive without fear or distress. Your signature can make a difference by pressuring national and international bodies into action. Please sign this petition today and join our call for peace, justice, and an end to the humanitarian aid blockade in Palestine.
