There’s only two 24 hour vets in Cape Town, and the locations are not suitable for everyone. When your pet is having an emergency, the horror of driving all the way to the southern suburbs with a stressed / dying animal in pain is unacceptable. There are 1000s of animals in the Deep South who deserve medical care available  24/7. The drive to Kenilworth and extra 30 minutes could be the difference between life and death. There are too many experiences of people who have pet emergencies after hours just to end up with a dead pet, a huge bill, a massive speeding fine and having to live with the trauma when it could all be avoided by having a 24 hour vet closer by.
