NO iditarod or dogsled racing

The Issue

Every year, precious dogs, especially Siberian huskies, and Alaskan malamutes, die from this selfish, only-entertaining Iditarod, dog-sledding race is held in Alaska. These poor dogs need to endure 1000 miles, or 1610 kilometres, of running. Just imagine that, a marathon is 42 kilometres, right? Just times that by 38, and add another 14 kilometres. Or, you could just say it’s almost the distance from France to Morocco.

Those poor dogs don’t have a voice, but if they did you know they would not want to run this much. Twenty-seven dogs have died already since 2004 in this cruel race.

Help them because you can. Sign your name.
