A big money NY millionaire wants to come in and destroy the Highlands next to the beautiful Stairway to Heaven! Next door to our home,  they have a variance hearing upcoming to build 2 enormous structures for wedding venues, conference centers,, warehouses, and more retail! They've already begun tearing up the land,  taking down dozens of trees and digging,  driving the wildlife out of its natural habitat.  More coydogs, foxes, squirrels and snakes have been seen then ever before as a result! Even the bears and their cubs are being displaced!

With the addition of their "breezeways" to be erected and these monstrous sized buildings, these people are completely taking away the beauty of the natural landscape and obstructs the phenomenal view from atop the Stairway. This is farmland. They seek protection under the right to farm act,  yet they do NO farming. 

In addition,  they are planning this 1,000 feet from Heaven Hill,  to compete with a beloved town favorite, attempting to put them under as well! That business has been here for decades and has not only a wonderful facility and reputation,  but a following as well.  

Should they be allowed to proceed, we will have more traffic, more outsiders, and in the immediate vicinity, more NOISE AND GARBAGE! This detracts from all our property values close to Route 94!

We are the singular property within 200 feet and the only ones being notified as a result.  We cannot afford to fight this ourselves.  This benefits no one in town but those that profit from it and they have shown time and time again they don't care about this land.
