I apologize for the late declaration but I would say that we have come out victorious in our efforts to preserve higher education in Vermont! We have accomplished so much through this amazing grassroots campaign some of which include: - College's creating long term planning committees such as the NVU strong committee to adapt to the 21st century and meet the needs of Vermonters - Prevented the closure of three colleges - Achieved more transparency from administrations and the board of trustees - Secured bridge funding for this year in spite of the pandemic and the financial hardships that came from it All in all, I am proud of what we achieved when we came together! That just goes to show the power of unity for a common cause! Please stay vigilant and remind those who hold power in our schools and government that we are watching their actions and will hold them to their word when it comes to the health of our colleges. We can only continue this good work to create positive days ahead and prevent this from ever happening again. Have a safe and happy 2021! -Patrick
