Hello again,

As I post this we have surpassed the 11,000 signature mark and I am sure we will easily pass 15,000 by tomorrow morning! This is why I am upping our new goal to be 20,000 by tomorrow night!

In other news, some quotes from chancellor Spaulding have resurfaced stating his support for NVU stating both: “ It is always the Board’s intention — and mine — to support the continued success of and a strong future for NVU.” & “We reaffirm our strong support for NVU and for public higher education in the northern tier of Vermont.” in September of last 2019. Not only does this show him turning his back on promises but also shows that his commitment to higher education in Vermont and their surrounding communities are no longer true. We must show Chancellor Spaulding that these colleges are vital to the survival of Nothern Vermont. His proposition would be a sucker punch to the communities in which NVU-Lyndon, NVU-Johnson, and VTC-Randolph preside in. We must continue this pressure of the State Legislator, Governor's office, and Board of Trustees to delay the vote or vote on a different plan for the VSCS! Please share this petition and reaching out to these groups. securethefuture@vsc.edu and jeb.spaulding@vsc.edu

Tip: In each social media post about this issue or the petition tag these officials to keep the pressure on!

Remember that we are all in this together and we got this!
