More than any single breed, the rescue dog best represents Vermont character and values. Many of us in VT enjoy animals but more importantly, we respect all life, including not only the disadvantaged but especially them. If one of our fellow residents should fall, we will stoop to pick them up. So it is with rescue pets. They pass through this world for the briefest of time but they deliver much. We help save their lives and they help preserve ours.
