Despite the unified voice of the community against the installation of new 5G telecommunication towers, Verizon has forced its way onto a property that serves as our communal garden and youth center located in the historical landmark, La Casa del Mexicano, in a densely populated residential neighborhood. We are truly at the grassroots level, being rolled over by large conglomerates.

During this political climate in District 14, filled with corruption and disillusionment, we are left with a severe lack of representation.Boyle Heights is at the forefront of this fight against 5G and is standing alone.
