On August 6th, 2020, three white trucks arrived at la casa del mexicano! They were contracted by Verizon. They came ready to dig holes in our community garden. But one by one the community members began to show up and stop the construction. Only one more day 5G free, but we live with the fear and uncertainty of waking up one day and encounter Verizon destroying what we had put so much hard work and effort to build.
