Child sex trafficking happens in every city in the United States. On average, girls are coerced into prostitution at the age of 13. The demand for domestic minor sex trafficking is fueled by mainstream companies such as Verizon who allow for pornography to be marketed and distributed by their On Demand television service with titles and descriptions that imply that the girls are teenagers. This is child pornography and it is illegal. Even if the girls are of legal age, the way the videos are marketed increases demand for young girls. Protect our teenagers from sexual exploitation and making a profit off of their bodies.
