A Verizon exec has announced that the company plans to do away with its unlimited data plans for grandfathered customers in favor of new tiered "data share" plans, effectively killing off the final unlimited plans at the nation's largest mobile carrier.
THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.
As customers, we were made a promise when the data plans changed. In order to keep us from fleeing to another network who WOULD honor unlimited data, they promised our unlimited plans would never go away as long as we had them before a certain date. This led thousands of customers to re-up their contracts with Verizon as opposed to switching to other carriers.
If they break this promise, our contracts are essentially void. Sprint offers unlimited data, and they'll be getting a flood of new customers.
DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN. Sign this petition to let Verizon CFO Fran Shammo know that THIS MUST NOT HAPPEN. It's a break in our contracts.
