This is a huge problem in our country and I see it everywhere! I work in the industry as an oversize load pilot escort vehicle driver. I have been turning away business if they can’t provide proper paperwork on citizenship or can’t speak converse efficiently and can’t read/write in English. It’s literally a requirement for obtaining a cdl license. I refuse to be put the public in danger or be involved in any way whatsoever with any kind of situation that could harm anyone. Sign and share this petition please ! CDL drivers are a huge part of this country’s economy and livelihood. They deliver almost everything to and from our businesses, stores, factories, construction sites and more. I grew up in a trucking family and worked in and around the industry for a lot of my life. And the Florida incident showed the country what most of us have been seeing for years now. So let’s take a moment and make a difference, SIGN THE PETITION AND SHARE IT! Let’s our leaders know that we demand a change and that all CDL license holders are checked for citizenship and ensure they are fluent in English reading speaking conversing etc.
