We want Ventura Unified school district to hear our voices: Our children need to be in school physically 5 days per week, based off of the recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics. We would like the option to have 5 day in person learning.

The American Academy of Pediatrics strongly advocates that all policy considerations for the coming school year should start with a goal of having students physically present in school. The importance of in person learning is well-documented, and there is already evidence of the negative impacts on children because of school closures in the spring of 2020. 

Data has proven that children are less likely to be symptomatic and less likely to have severe diseases resulting from COVID 19 Infection. In addition, children may be less likely to become infected and to spread infection. (American Academy of Pediatrics)

We propose Ventura Unfiied school district follows other states and counties and gives parents the option of FULL TIME IN PERSON LEARNING.
