Happy New Year!
 Just want to send out a huge THANK YOU to Principal Todd Tyner and the VUSD staff involved who listened , heard, cared, acted and delivered on our concerns about our children’s safety on the field at Mound. We are so grateful for everyone involved who took care of this! The field was grated, aerated, tops soiled (100 cubic yards) and leveled over break. Hydroseeding should occur this week and it will be closed to students in January. Tyner will continue to work with the grounds crew on the gophers that may continue to come in. Hallelujah! Grateful to be at such a wonderful school with caring, helpful and collaborative staff and parents ❤️❤️❤️ -Beth (P.S. my son Donovan’s arm healed up perfect. These kids are so resilient!)
