Vegans and Bernie supporters- we need your help getting the word to the Bernie camp that the way to “bail out the dairy industry” is to help them convert from using animals, to creating plant-based milk and milk products instead! He seems like he’s on the right path, but needs a little nudge in this direction. Being from Vermont, he cares about the working class, but probably isn’t aware of the strides being made by activists who are helping these farmers adapt and change to the new times; times that do not have room for archaic practices like animal agriculture. Let’s show them how it’s done! We can amplify and use as a blueprint the groundbreaking work of Miyoko Schinner and others working towards the cause.
