This spring 2021 semester students are paying over $2000 for a inconvenient and inadequate meal plan. We have 50% of locations open this semester, yet we’re still paying full price. Canes, TacoBell, Bento, Twisted Taco, Chili’s Dine In, Jonahs, Bleecker, Freshii, Subway, and Pizza Hut are all not open. There are also odd hours at the locations that are open, which makes it difficult for students to even get food. When there is weather advisory’s, there tends to only be 2 locations open, and because of the lack of locations, there are long lines, and lower quality of food. The students of VCU are signing this petition so VCU can make a change and not continue to scam their students of money through required meal plans and such.
