Many people who own animals of any type know that paying for the correct veterinary care can be costly therefore causing many animals to suffer in silence as the treatment cannot be afforded. With removing the VAT from all veterinary services and treatments this will increase the amount of responsible owners, and is promoting good animal welfare. With this cutting revenue to the government there should a £1000 compulsory charge for any animal abuse/neglect charges which does not include the fines for the individual offences to cover the VAT loss. By doing this we are sending a clear message that abuse is not acceptable and responsible ownership is!
