The Mount Pleasant Community Centre Association Board of Directors congratulate the newly elected Parks Commissioners: Scott Jensen, Angela Kate Haer, Laura Christensen, Marie-Clare Howard, Jas Virdi, Brennan Bastyovanszky, and Tom Digby, and the newly-elected and re-elected Mayor and Councillors, Ken Sim, Sarah Kirby-Yung, Lisa Dominato, Brian Montague, Mike Klassen, Peter Meiszner, Rebecca Bligh, Lenny Zhou, Adriane Carr, Christine Boyle, and Pete Fry. We wish you well in governing the City of Vancouver and its Parks & Recreation system. 

We will continue collecting signatures on this petition until 11:59 pm on October 30, when it will be closed so we can collate the online signatures with those signatures signed manually on paper, check for duplicates, and merge them. The combined petition, which is currently just under 1300, will then be copied and presented to the incoming Park Board and Council, as well as Park Board and City Staff. 

For all of you who have signed, thank you, we do hope to see Mount Pleasant Outdoor Pool funded in the near future. There are still 2 weeks to gather more signatures, so spread it widely with your friends and families.
