Hi everyone! 

Great work on sharing the petition - we now have almost 450 online supporters and over 100 have signed the paper version of the petition. We'll be out and about in the next few weeks, attending events (Note Car Free Day on Main is on Sunday September 18) and all-candidates meetings during the election, so many opportunities to meet supporters who are interested in signing the petition.

The weather is projected to stay warm throughout next week. Hopefully the Vancouver Park Board will be able to recruit more lifeguards so the outdoor pools on Vancouver's waterfront can remain open during the warm weather! Please keep sharing the petition via social media, email, and word of mouth so in the future we will have a new pool in Mount Pleasant to increase the availability of outdoor swimming in Vancouver!
