VCDH insists on having classes this week regardless of the multiple teachers and students who have attended the dentist convention where an attendee had tested positive. 

Many of the teachers continue to put students at great risk by "self-monitoring" at school. (NOT self-quarantining) 

Not only are the Provincial Health Authorities not recommending to close post-secondary schools, but they are risking the lives of students who take public transit and those who have elderly parents/young siblings at home. 

They are also recommending not all sick people need testing and to not get assessed until you have self-isolated. This includes elderly. There are students who need to care for their parents/grandparents because the healthcare system CANNOT handle the potential overflowing assessment capacity. 

VCDH has stated they are working towards online classes by the upcoming week BUT with no definitive answer. VCDH has 300+ students who are all at risk due to these measures.

Everyday is frightening. 

Please help cancel VCDH classes to prevent the COVID-19 outbreak.
