This is a petition to revive Valve's 2010 game Alien Swarm by including Steam Workshop and Steam Trading Cards components to it.

Alien Swarm is a freeware top-down shoot-em-up video game by Valve Corporation. It is a remake of the Alien Swarm mod for Unreal Tournament 2004, and it was developed by the original team, who were hired by Valve during the course of the development process.

In my own words, playing Alien Swarm is a tense experience, a Left 4 Deadish game with the The Thing (movie) atmosphere. It requires team work, solid nerves, good reflexes and a lot of strategy. Basically, it's one of the most fun co-op games and it's free.

So, what's the problem, you might ask? A potentially awesome game that has a lot of room for new stuff and improvement was abandoned. So now we - the players want to do something to revive the game and attract the masses... to shoot some aliens down.

By signing this petition, you're asking Valve Corporation to include Steam Workshop and Steam Trading Cards components in their game Alien Swarm.
