Whether directly or indirectly, I believe that the Community Market is affecting the current TF2 economic value of keys negatively. Without the Community Market, the entirety of the TF2 community will have to rely on buying keys directly from the TF2 client to securely purchase them. If the community market were to persist in it's current fashion, the price of keys will continue to rise, resulting in further negative effects on the TF2 market.
