Rethink The Re-Development of Belle Vue Pavilion

Rethink The Re-Development of Belle Vue Pavilion
The Issue
It has been decided that money collected from property developers that was promised would be spent on replacing community services lost by those developments in Penarth has now been earmarked for re-developing Belle Vue Pavilion.
The budget for this re-development is an incredible £1.2 million.
This is destined to be a massively underused white elephant that will benefit a tiny number of already very well served people - mostly the local bowls team - while the rest of the community will continue to live without the services they were promised.
Rather than wasting an enormous amount of public money on this project, let's build something new & better within the communities who have lost their facilities.
A basic re-development of the Belle Vue Pavilion can be done for a fraction of the current budget, leaving the majority of the available funds for services in Penarth Heights.
