The Proposed Veterinary Medical Treatments and Procedures to be Taxed:
Non-emergency veterinary treatments subject to a 4.85% sales tax including:
Spaying and neutering
Vaccinations and preventative care
Diagnostic exams and lab tests
Dental services
Euthanasia and cremation
Pet Boarding Services

Utah already has a homeless pet epidemic, and this will not help with that! Instead of taxing people trying to take care of their furry family members, Utah needs to put money and effort into solving a growing problem that effects each one of our communities. Lax animal cruelty and welfare laws, and a complete disregard for the over populated shelters and rescues who fight everyday to save the animals in our state. We need to let our state representatives know that we Utahns love our furry family members, and value politicians who help protect them!
