As many of you know since Island View changed names they now claim to be rebranded and improved. Oftentimes they claim to be a completely separate entity from the facility that has gained such a horrible reputation. We survivors know this to be complete nonsense. It was brought to my attention today there was an incident in 2018 that so clearly proves nothing has changed. In this incident a 15 year old girl was slammed to the ground so hard she suffered a TBI. They refused to get her adequate medical attention for nearly an entire week even after showing clear signs of a head injury. They fractured her skull and left her to suffer from double vision and vomiting. I will post the link to the tweet I was shown today so you guys can read more for yourselves.

This is absolutely unacceptable. No child should have to suffer this kind of abuse. This is why this petition is so important. No child deserves to be sent somewhere where their well being is far less important than profit. So many of us have experienced medical neglect at Elevations, Island view, and all of the sister programs. I am so proud of all of you for standing up for kids who really need you. Thank you for your support!
